Browse our Vietnam and Cambodia tour packages below to find the route that fits your dates.
How Much Does a Vietnam and Cambodia Trip Cost from India?
A Vietnam and Cambodia tour costs ₹61,000 to ₹1,10,000 per person for land services over 8 to 14 days, plus return flights from India at roughly ₹20,000 to ₹40,000, bringing the trip to about ₹81,000 to ₹1,50,000 before visas, the flight between the two countries, and Angkor tickets. Where a Vietnam Cambodia tour package lands within that range depends on trip length and on how many nights Cambodia gets.
What the land package includes: 4-star hotels, private air-conditioned transfers in both countries, an English-speaking guide in each city, scheduled sightseeing, a Halong Bay cruise on northern routes, daily breakfast with selected lunches and dinners, and bottled water on tour days.
What it excludes: international flights from India, the flight between Vietnam and Cambodia, domestic flights within Vietnam, both visa fees, meals outside the itinerary, single supplements, additional tips and personal expenses, and bank transfer fees.

Costs Travellers Forget on a Two-Country Trip
Travellers planning both countries should budget for 5 items that a Vietnam-only trip does not involve.
Vietnam e-visa: ₹2,375 (US$25) for single entry, or ₹4,750 (US$50) for multiple entry
Cambodia visa: about ₹2,850 (US$30), the same fee whether you apply online or take the visa on arrival
Angkor Pass: US$37 for a 1-day pass, US$62 for a 3-day pass, and US$72 for a 7-day pass, which is about ₹3,515, ₹5,890, and ₹6,840
The flight between Vietnam and Cambodia: Ho Chi Minh City to Siem Reap takes about 1 to 1.5 hours and is quoted separately
Tips in two countries: guides and drivers change at the border, so budget for both legs
Cambodia also requires a free online e-Arrival Card for air arrivals, and Vietnam advises an online pre-arrival declaration at its major airports; both are covered in the next section. At 8 days, a two-country itinerary starts at ₹61,000 per person, which is no higher than most Vietnam travel packages of the same length. For the full budget breakdown, see our guide to expenses for Vietnam trip planning from India.
Visas for Indian Travellers: Vietnam and Cambodia in One Trip
Yes, a two-country trip needs 2 separate visas: a Vietnam e-visa and a Cambodia visa, and both are straightforward for Indian passport holders. Neither country is visa-free for Indian travellers, and neither visa covers the other.
The Vietnam e-visa costs US$25 (₹2,375) for single entry or US$50 (₹4,750) for multiple entry, allows a stay of up to 90 days, and is applied for online at evisa.gov.vn. Official processing takes 3 working days, though Vietnamtour.in advises allowing 7 to 10. Since December 2025 the e-visa is accepted at 83 international border checkpoints (airports, land border gates, and seaports), including Moc Bai, Xa Mat, Tinh Bien, Vinh Xuong, and Ha Tien on the Cambodian border. Travellers landing at Vietnam's major airports are also strongly advised to complete the online pre-arrival declaration and show the confirmation QR code at immigration.
The Cambodia visa costs US$30 (about ₹2,850) and allows a 30-day stay, with the visa valid for 90 days from the date of issue. Indian travellers can apply online for the e-visa, which takes around 3 working days, or take the visa on arrival at Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, and Sihanoukville airports and at the Bavet land crossing. Travellers arriving by air must also submit Cambodia's e-Arrival Card, which is free and completed online within 7 days before the flight.
Single Entry or Multiple Entry: The One That Catches People Out
A single-entry Vietnam e-visa becomes void the moment you leave Vietnam, even for a day. On an itinerary that runs Vietnam to Cambodia and then back into Vietnam, a single-entry e-visa will not let you re-enter, so the multiple-entry version at US$50 (₹4,750) is the one to apply for. Routes that finish in Siem Reap and fly home from there need only the single-entry e-visa, which is one reason most itineraries on this page put Cambodia at the start or the end rather than in the middle. Your consultant confirms which one your route needs before you apply.Full details on the Vietnam side are in our guide to theVietnam e-visa for Indian travellers.
Best Routes: How a Two-Country Itinerary Works
A Vietnam Cambodia tour works best when Cambodia sits at one end of the trip rather than in the middle, because that way the itinerary never doubles back and a single-entry Vietnam e-visa is enough. Two-country routes therefore run in one of two directions: starting in Siem Reap or Phnom Penh and continuing through Vietnam, or covering Vietnam first and finishing at Angkor.
Starting in Cambodia or Starting in Vietnam
Starting in Cambodia puts Angkor on day 2 or 3, while the traveller is still fresh, and leaves Vietnam's longer stretch for the rest of the trip. Routes built this way run Siem Reap into Ho Chi Minh City and the Mekong Delta, or Siem Reap into Hanoi and Halong Bay, and they finish at whichever Vietnamese airport is closest to the last stop.Starting in Vietnam works the other way round, covering Hanoi, the central coast, and the south before crossing to Siem Reap for the final nights. This order suits travellers who want the temples as the closing note of the trip, and it flies home from Cambodia rather than Vietnam.Either direction avoids the one thing that wastes a day on a two-country trip: returning to the city you started in just to catch the flight home.
Crossing Between the Two Countries
Flying is the usual way across. Ho Chi Minh City to Siem Reap takes about 1 to 1.5 hours, flown mainly by Vietnam Airlines and Air Cambodia, with several departures a day from early morning to late evening. That means the crossing costs half a day at most, including the airport time at both ends.Going overland is the alternative and takes far longer. The bus from Ho Chi Minh City to Siem Reap runs about 13 hours, crossing at Moc Bai on the Vietnamese side and Bavet on the Cambodian side. Both crossings accept the Vietnam e-visa and the Cambodia e-visa, so paperwork is not an obstacle; the time is. Overland makes sense on a longer itinerary with Phnom Penh built in as a stop, and much less sense on an 8- or 9-day trip. Our step-by-step guide on how to travel to Cambodia from Vietnam compares every option.
How the Days Usually Split
Cambodia takes the smaller share of a two-country itinerary, with Siem Reap the anchor and Phnom Penh added on longer routes; our guide to places to visit in Cambodia covers the other stops worth considering. The rest of the trip goes to Vietnam, which is why shorter Cambodia and Vietnam tour packages cover one Vietnamese region alongside Angkor, while longer ones reach all three regions and still leave the temples their own days. The itineraries below are grouped by length.
A two-country trip needs at least 8 days, and across our Vietnam and Cambodia tour packages the length decides how much Vietnam fits alongside Angkor rather than how much time Cambodia gets.
8–9 Days: Angkor and Vietnam's Icons
The shortest Vietnam Cambodia tour packages start from ₹60,991 per person and give Siem Reap 2 nights before crossing into Vietnam, with one evening free for Pub Street and the best of Cambodia nightlife. The 9-day version runs Siem Reap, Da Nang and Hoi An, then Hanoi with an overnight Halong Bay cruise, from ₹80,848 per person, including a full private day at Angkor Thom, Ta Prohm, and Angkor Wat that finishes with sunset from Phnom Bakheng. Compare lengths in our8-day Vietnam tours and9-day Vietnam tours.
11–12 Days: The Complete Two-Country Journey
With 11 or 12 days, a Cambodia Vietnam tour covers all three regions of Vietnam as well as the temples, from ₹93,532 per person. Routes at this length add either Phnom Penh and a boat trip on Tonle Sap Lake alongside Siem Reap, or Sapa's rice terraces at the Vietnamese end, which is the choice that decides whether the extra days go to Cambodia or to the north. See the options in our11-day Vietnam tours and12-day Vietnam tours.
14+ Days: Grand Indochina with Beach Time
From 14 days, the itinerary adds beach days on Phu Quoc to the full run through both countries, from ₹1,09,817 per person; travellers who prefer the Cambodian coast can compare the Cambodia beaches instead. Longer routes can also take in Luang Prabang for a three-country trip. BrowseVietnam tours above 12 days or ourIndochina tours.
Why Book Your Two-Country Trip with Vietnamtour.in?
Crossing a border mid-holiday is where two-country trips usually come apart, because most operators sell Cambodia tour packages separately and hand travellers over to a second company at the airport. Vietnamtour.in has run 46,000+ tours for travellers from India since 2015, and every Vietnam and Cambodia tour package here runs on one plan from arrival to departure.
One operator across both countries: The same team handles the hotels in Siem Reap and in Hanoi, the guides on both sides of the border, and the flight between them, so a delay in Cambodia is fixed by the people who booked Vietnam rather than passed along.
Routes that avoid backtracking: Siem Reap sits at the start or the end of the itinerary rather than in the middle, which keeps the Vietnam e-visa to a single entry and saves the day a return leg would cost.
Indian, vegetarian, Halal and Jain meals in both countries: Meals are arranged at every major stop including Siem Reap, with the chance to try local Cambodian food along the way, and for private tours the team works with restaurants serving Indian food. Requests need advance notice so the kitchen can prepare properly.
Visa guidance for both sides: Vietnamtour.in files the Vietnam e-visa on request at US$35 (₹3,325) per traveller, which covers US$25 in government fees plus the service, and your consultant confirms whether your route needs a single or multiple entry before you apply.

An Unforgettable Vietnam Experience – Seamless Planning, Amazing People & Wonderful Memories! ❤ We genuinely had a wonderful experience exploring Vietnam with VietnamTour.in! From the initial planning to the end of our journey, everything was exceptionally well organised, thoughtfully planned and smoothly executed. A special mention to Joey from the sales team, who was extremely prompt, helpful and available 24/7 whenever we needed assistance. Her quick responses, constant support and willingness to help made the entire planning process effortless. It’s just a pity we couldn’t meet in person! A big thank you to Sophie, Alora and the entire team as well for their efforts and coordination in making this trip such a memorable one. A special shout-out to our amazing tour guides – Myee (Hanoi), Phat (Da Nang) and Hans (Ho Chi Minh City)! ❤️ All three were incredibly patient, cooperative, welcoming and friendly. Their warmth, local knowledge and willingness to help made us feel comfortable throughout the journey. Our entire group thoroughly enjoyed every moment with them, and they genuinely added so much value to our Vietnam experience. The itinerary, transportation, coordination and overall arrangements were excellent. If there’s one small piece of constructive feedback, I felt the hotel in Ho Chi Minh City was a little average compared to the other arrangements. However, its central location was definitely a plus, so it was manageable. Apart from that, everything was fantastic! We have absolutely no major complaints and truly appreciate the effort, dedication and professionalism of the entire team. We would definitely recommend VietnamTour.in to anyone planning a trip to Vietnam! You have a fantastic team, and we would love to plan another holiday with you in the future. Thank you once again for giving us such wonderful memories of Vietnam. Keep up the great work! ❤️🙌😊

Frequently Asked Questions about a Vietnam and Cambodia Tour
Yes, a Vietnam e-visa and a Cambodia visa, and neither covers the other. The Vietnam e-visa costs US$25 (₹2,375) for single entry or US$50 (₹4,750) for multiple entry and allows up to 90 days, while the Cambodia e-visa or visa on arrival costs US$30 (about ₹2,850) for a 30-day stay. Both visa fees sit outside the package price.
It depends on the route. A single-entry e-visa becomes void the moment you leave Vietnam, so an itinerary that goes to Vietnam, then Cambodia, then back to Vietnam needs the multiple-entry version at US$50. Routes that put Siem Reap at the start or the end need only a single entry, which is one reason itineraries are sequenced that way.
Most travellers fly. Ho Chi Minh City to Siem Reap takes about 1 to 1.5 hours with Vietnam Airlines or Air Cambodia, with departures from early morning to late evening. The overland alternative runs about 13 hours by bus through the Moc Bai and Bavet border crossings, which makes sense only when Phnom Penh is a planned stop.
No, internal and international flight tickets, along with airport taxes, are excluded from all Vietnam and Cambodia tour packages from India on this page. The land price covers hotels, private transfers, guides, and sightseeing in both countries. The team books the crossing flight on request and matches it to the itinerary.
The Angkor Pass costs US$37 for 1 day, US$62 for 3 days, and US$72 for 7 days, which works out to about ₹3,515, ₹5,890, and ₹6,840. A 1-day pass covers the standard full-day tour of Angkor Thom, Ta Prohm, and Angkor Wat that most itineraries follow.
8 days is the minimum, with 2 nights in Siem Reap and the rest in one Vietnamese region. 11 to 12 days is where both countries get proper time, covering all three regions of Vietnam alongside the temples. Anything shorter than 8 days means cutting Vietnam back to a single city.
Yes, Indian, vegetarian, Halal, and Jain meals are arranged in Siem Reap and Phnom Penh as well as at every Vietnamese stop. For private tours, the team works with restaurants serving authentic Indian food, and Jain or other specific requests need advance notice so the kitchen can prepare properly.
November to April suits both countries, since Siem Reap and southern Vietnam share the same dry season. Angkor is at its most comfortable between November and February, before the heat builds in March and April, while the central coast of Vietnam stays rainy until about December. For month-by-month detail, see our guide to the best time to visit Cambodia.
Book 60 to 90 days ahead for most months of the year. Diwali and December departures need 4 to 6 months, and a two-country trip needs extra lead time for the visas: the Vietnam e-visa takes 3 working days officially, the Cambodia e-visa is about the same, and Vietnamtour.in advises allowing 7 to 10 for the Vietnam side.
Start Planning Your Vietnam and Cambodia Trip
One trip, two countries, one point of contact: a Vietnam and Cambodia tour package from Vietnamtour.in covers 4-star hotels, private transfers and guides on both sides of the border, and Indian, vegetarian, Halal or Jain meals from Siem Reap to Halong Bay.
Every quote sets out exactly what is included and what is not, from the visas to the flight between the two countries, so there is no hidden cost at the end of the holiday. Send your travel dates today and a local consultant will have a full itinerary and per-person price with you within 24 hours, free and with nothing to pay until the plan is right.
