Vietnam 10 day trip cost from India (2026)

A Vietnam 10 days tour package from India costs ₹79,000 to ₹1,25,000 per person for the land package, or roughly ₹1,17,000 to ₹1,98,000 all in once international flights, domestic sectors, the e-visa, and on-ground spending are added. How much does a 10 day trip to Vietnam cost within that range? Three things decide it: hotel class, how many domestic flights the route needs, and whether it finishes on Phu Quoc or climbs to Sapa.

  • What the land package includes: 4-star hotels as the minimum standard, private air-conditioned transfers, an English-speaking guide in each city, entry tickets for scheduled sightseeing, a Halong Bay cruise, daily breakfast with selected lunches, and bottled water on tour days.
  • What it excludes: international flights from India, domestic flights within Vietnam, the e-visa fee, meals outside the itinerary, single supplements, compulsory tips of US$3 per person per day for guides and drivers, bank transfer fees, and personal expenses.

Where a 10-day Vietnam trip lands within that range depends mostly on hotel class and on how many regions the itinerary covers:

Travel Style

10-Day Vietnam Trip Cost (Per Person)

Accommodation & Services

Budget / Backpacking

₹60,000 – ₹80,000

3-star hotels, shared group tours, a Halong Bay day cruise, overland transfers between regions.

Mid-Range / Comfort

₹79,000 – ₹1,10,000

4-star hotels, private car with an English-speaking guide, Halong Bay cruise, domestic flights quoted separately.

Luxury

₹1,25,000+

5-star hotels and resorts, premium cruise cabin, fine dining, upgraded airport transfers.

Land-only, excluding international flights, quoted per person on twin-sharing, at ₹95 = US$1.

Every Vietnamtour.in's Vietnam 10 days tour package sits in the comfort tier and above, with 4-star stays as the minimum standard and one 5-star itinerary in the collection. Every price is quoted per person on twin-sharing, so it is worth checking what any quote actually includes before comparing two numbers side by side.

The list below breaks the 10 day Vietnam trip cost down for one traveller on a mid-range route across Vietnam, from the land package to the cash you carry:

  • Land package (9 nights, 4-star, twin-sharing): ₹79,135 to ₹1,25,400. This covers hotels, private transfers, guides, scheduled entry tickets, the Halong Bay cruise, and daily breakfast.
  • Return flights (India – Vietnam): ₹20,000 to ₹35,000 in economy, booked 2 to 3 months in advance.
  • Domestic flights within Vietnam: ₹5,000 to ₹18,000, depending on whether the route needs two or three sectors.
  • Vietnam e-visa: ₹2,375 (US$25) for a single-entry e-visa, valid for stays of up to 90 days.
  • Meals outside the package: ₹8,000 to ₹15,000 over 10 days, from ₹800 to ₹1,500 per day.
  • Tips for guides and drivers: around ₹2,850, at about US$3 per person per day.

Travellers should carry another ₹15,000 to ₹20,000 per person in cash for shopping, snacks, and small local payments on a 10-day Vietnam trip, since this is a float rather than part of the fixed cost of a 10-day trip to Vietnam. Indian tourists comparing destinations can see the wider picture in our guide to Vietnam trip cost from India.

What You Can Cover in 10 Days in Vietnam?

A 10-day Vietnam trip is 9 nights, which leaves about eight full days on the ground after the arrival and departure flights. Eight days is the first point where all three regions fit with a rest day built in, rather than a stop-every-morning schedule. The four routes below are the shapes a Vietnam 10 days tour package actually takes, and the main difference between them is how many domestic flights each one needs.

Route 1: Classic North to South — Hanoi, Halong Bay, Da Nang, Hoi An, Ho Chi Minh City

The Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City route with Vietnamtour.in starts from ₹79,135 per person, the lowest price among the 10-day packages, and needs two domestic flights.

  • Day 1: Arrive in Hanoi, private transfer with your guide, evening free in the Old Quarter.
  • Day 2: Hanoi city tour, including the Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake.
  • Day 3: Cruise on Halong Bay through the limestone karsts.
  • Day 4: Return to Hanoi, then fly to Da Nang, about 1 hour 25 minutes.
  • Day 5: Cable car to Ba Na Hills for the Golden Bridge and the French Village.
  • Day 6: Basket boat at Cam Thanh Coconut Village and Hoi An Ancient Town.
  • Day 7: Fly to Ho Chi Minh City, about 1 hour 20 minutes, then a city tour.
  • Day 8: Mekong Delta day trip with a sampan ride through the canals.
  • Day 9: Ho Chi Minh City at leisure.
  • Day 10: Depart from Ho Chi Minh City.

Classic North to South suits first-time visitors who want the full length of the country without a beach stretch at the end.

Route 2: Northern Highlands with Sapa — Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Sapa, Halong Bay, Da Nang, Hoi An

The Sapa route starts from ₹95,285 per person and is the only 10-day shape that needs just one domestic flight, because Sapa and Halong Bay are both reached by road from Hanoi.

  • Day 1: Arrive in Hanoi and transfer to your hotel.
  • Day 2: Day trip to Ninh Binh for Hoa Lu Ancient Capital and the Tam Coc boat ride.
  • Day 3: Drive to Sapa, for about 5 to 6 hours on the Noi Bai–Lao Cai expressway.
  • Day 4: Sapa — Muong Hoa Valley rice terraces and the Fansipan cable car.
  • Day 5: Return to Hanoi.
  • Day 6: Cruise on Halong Bay.
  • Day 7: Fly to Da Nang, then an afternoon by the beach.
  • Day 8: Ba Na Hills and the Golden Bridge.
  • Day 9: Hoi An Ancient Town and the lantern-lit riverfront.
  • Day 10: Depart from Da Nang.

Vietnamtour.in's Northern Highlands with the Sapa route suits travellers who would rather spend the extra days in the mountains than on a plane. Fewer flights also means fewer half-days lost to airports.

Route 3: All Three Regions with a Beach Finish — Hanoi, Halong Bay, Da Nang, Hoi An, Phu Quoc

The Hanoi to Phu Quoc route starts from ₹99,655 per person, covers the largest group of 10-day itineraries we run, and needs two domestic flights.

  • Day 1: Arrive in Hanoi, evening free.
  • Day 2: Hanoi city tour.
  • Day 3: Cruise on Halong Bay.
  • Day 4: Fly to Da Nang, about 1 hour 25 minutes.
  • Day 5: Ba Na Hills and the Golden Bridge.
  • Day 6: Hoi An Ancient Town and Cam Thanh Coconut Village.
  • Day 7: Fly to Phu Quoc, then check in to your beach hotel.
  • Day 8: Phu Quoc — the Hon Thom cable car and island beaches.
  • Day 9: Phu Quoc at leisure, with a four-island boat trip as an option.
  • Day 10: Depart from Phu Quoc.

All Three Regions with a Beach Finish suits couples and families who want the sightseeing done before the holiday slows down, with the last three nights in one hotel.

Route 4: South to North with Phu Quoc — Ho Chi Minh City, Mekong Delta, Phu Quoc, Da Nang, Hanoi, Halong Bay

The Ho Chi Minh City to Halong Bay route in Vietnamtour.in starts from ₹96,140 per person, covers six destinations from south to north, and needs three domestic flights.

  • Day 1: Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City, city tour of the historic centre.
  • Day 2: Mekong Delta day trip with a sampan ride and village workshops.
  • Day 3: Fly to Phu Quoc, about 1 hour.
  • Day 4: Phu Quoc — island beaches and the Hon Thom cable car.
  • Day 5: Fly to Da Nang, about 1 hour 50 minutes.
  • Day 6: Ba Na Hills and the Golden Bridge.
  • Day 7: Hoi An Ancient Town.
  • Day 8: Fly to Hanoi, about 1 hour 25 minutes, then the Old Quarter.
  • Day 9: Cruise on Halong Bay.
  • Day 10: Depart from Hanoi.

South to North with Phu Quoc suits travellers who want the beach in the middle of the trip rather than at the end, and who do not mind three airport days.

What You Should Not Try to Cover in 10 Days

Ten days is the first duration where all three regions of Vietnam fit without rushing, so the mistakes at this length are different from the ones on a short trip. Nothing below is impossible in a Vietnam 10 days tour package, but each one simply costs more than it gives back.

  • Four or five nights in one place while still covering the country: Every extra night on Phu Quoc or in Hoi An is a stop dropped somewhere else, because sightseeing days get cut before beach days do. Vietnamtour.in 10-day itineraries that include Phu Quoc give the island two or three nights, which covers the Hon Thom cable car, a four-island boat trip, and one day with nothing scheduled.
  • All three regions plus Sapa: Ten days stretches to either the full north-to-south run or a northern route with Sapa, not both. Sapa alone takes 5 to 6 hours by road from Hanoi each way, so adding it to a Hanoi-to-Ho Chi Minh City itinerary means two travel days that have to come out of the south.
  • Changing hotels more than five times: A 10-day trip has nine nights, and a six-stop route leaves several of them as single nights, which means packing and checking out on most mornings. Vietnamtour.in routes are sequenced so that at least two stops get two or three consecutive nights, usually Hanoi at the start and the beach at the end.
  • Replacing domestic flights with trains or overnight buses: Ten days feels long enough to travel overland, but Hanoi to Da Nang takes about 16 hours by train against 1 hour 25 minutes in the air. Saving a few thousand rupees costs a full day of the itinerary, which is why every Vietnamtour.in 10-day route uses flights between regions.
vietnam 10 day tour package
What You Should Not Try to Cover in 10 Days

Travellers who want one of these as the centre of the trip are better served by a different shape of itinerary rather than a fuller one. Sapa, with a beach stretch, fits comfortably in Vietnamtour.in 12-day Vietnam tours, while Ha Giang or Phong Nha have the room they need in Vietnam tours above 12 days.

Why Choose Vietnamtour.in for Your 10-Day Vietnam Trip?

At 10 days, the itinerary is long enough that most travellers want to change something in it, and that is where a ready-made package usually falls apart. Vietnamtour.in has run 46,000+ tours for travellers from India since 2015, and every 10-day route on this page is built to be rearranged rather than rebuilt.

  • Swap a stop without starting over: Every Vietnam 10 days tour package is marked customizable, so dropping the Mekong Delta for three nights on Phu Quoc, or trading Ninh Binh for Sapa, is a change of route rather than a new design. The team works from six established 10-day shapes, which is why a revised itinerary and price still come back within 24 hours.
  • Rest days built into a 10-day plan: Nine nights across five or six stops leave several as single nights, so Vietnamtour.in routes give at least two stops two or three consecutive nights, usually Hanoi at the start and the beach at the end. Sightseeing days can also be shortened or swapped for a slow morning without affecting the rest of the plan.
  • Indian, vegetarian, and Jain meals on request: Meals are arranged at every major stop when the kitchen is told in advance, which is why dietary requirements are collected at the time of booking rather than on arrival.
  • A team in Delhi and a coordinator on the ground: Questions before departure go to the Vietnamtour.in office in Delhi or by WhatsApp in IST, and once you land, a dedicated coordinator handles transfers, timings, and any change to the plan for the rest of the trip.

Wonderful Vietnam Trip with Vietnamtour We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Vietnamtour and would highly recommend them for anyone planning a trip to Vietnam. We explored Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Da Nang, Ba Na Hills, Hoi An and Phu Quoc, and every part of the trip was well planned and executed. A special mention to Quin, our travel agent, who was extremely helpful and supportive throughout the trip. From airport transfers and hotels to food, sightseeing and all the little details, everything was taken care of very well. She was always available whenever we needed assistance, even when we faced an unexpected flight-related issue that was outside the package. The entire trip was comfortable, well organised and truly memorable. Thank you to the whole Vietnamtour team, and especially Quin, for making our Vietnam holiday such a wonderful experience!

9 Days vs 10 Days vs 11 Days — Which One Fits You?

A 10-day Vietnam tour package is the shortest trip that covers all three regions with a rest day built in, while a 9-day itinerary trades that rest day for one day less of leave, and an 11-day route adds Sapa or a longer island stay without cutting anything. The table below compares what each trip length gives you and what it asks in return:

9 Days

10 Days (This Page)

11 Days

The pace

All three regions are covered, but most stops get a single night

Three regions with two or three stops holding consecutive nights

Two or three nights at nearly every stop

What you gain

One day less of leave and one night less of hotel cost

A rest day, and the choice between a beach finish and Sapa

Sapa and a beach stay on the same trip, without rushing either

What you give up

The beach stretches at the end, or Sapa

Sapa and a full Phu Quoc stay in the same itinerary

A day of leave, and a higher total once flights and hotels are added

Sample itineraries

13 packages, ₹99,749 to ₹1,27,300

17 packages, ₹79,135 to ₹1,25,400

12 packages, ₹72,770 to ₹1,47,250

Best suited to

Travellers with fixed leave who want the full country

First-time visitors wanting the whole country at a workable pace

Multi-generational groups and travellers who prefer fewer moving days

Indian travellers with one day less to spare should compare 9-day Vietnam tours before deciding, since the route is similar but the nights are split differently. If 10 days feels tight once you add Sapa or a full island stay, an 11-day Vietnam tour package gives you the extra region without cutting anything from the plan.

Frequently Asked Questions about 10 Day Vietnam Tour Packages

Yes, 10 days is the shortest trip from India that covers all three regions of Vietnam with a rest day built in. Nine nights leave about eight full days on the ground once the arrival and departure flights are counted, which is enough for five or six stops at a workable pace. Shorter trips can still reach all three regions, but most stops end up as a single night.

Yes, and 10 days is the ideal length for that route rather than the minimum. Vietnamtour.in runs it from ₹79,135 per person, going to Hanoi and Halong Bay, then Da Nang and Hoi An on the central coast, and finishing with Ho Chi Minh City and the Mekong Delta. The route needs two domestic flights, and the extra days over a shorter trip go into second nights rather than extra stops.

A 10-day Vietnam itinerary needs between one and three domestic flights, depending on the route. The Sapa route needs only one, because Sapa and Halong Bay are both reached by road from Hanoi. A classic north-to-south run needs two, and routes that add Phu Quoc in the middle need three. Domestic sectors cost about ₹2,500 to ₹6,000 each and are not included in the land package.

A 10-day Vietnam trip works best flying into one city and out of another, rather than returning to where it started. The classic route flies into Hanoi (HAN) and out of Ho Chi Minh City (SGN), or the reverse, while beach-finish routes fly out of Phu Quoc (PQC) and the Sapa route flies out of Da Nang (DAD). The Vietnamtour.in team can check whether an open-jaw fare from your city works out cheaper than a return.

Yes, Indian, vegetarian, and Jain meals are arranged at every major stop on a 10-day Vietnam route, including Halong Bay cruise days and Phu Quoc. Requests need advance notice so the kitchen can prepare properly, which is why dietary requirements are collected at the time of booking. Daily breakfast is included in every package, along with selected lunches.

Travellers should carry around ₹15,000 to ₹20,000 per person in cash for a 10-day Vietnam trip, on top of the Vietnam 10 day trip cost from India. Street stalls, markets, and taxis are mostly cash only, while 4-star hotels and larger restaurants take cards. UPI does not work in Vietnam, and ATM withdrawals carry a fee of 22,000 to 55,000 VND per transaction.

Yes, and 10 days is the point where Sapa stops being a squeeze. Vietnamtour.in runs two 10-day Sapa routes from ₹95,285 per person, covering Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Sapa, Halong Bay, Da Nang, and Hoi An. The trade-off is in the south: adding Sapa means the itinerary turns around at Hoi An rather than continuing to Ho Chi Minh City.

Yes, the single-entry e-visa costs ₹2,375 (US$25) and allows stays of up to 90 days, so 10 days is well within it. Travellers should apply at least a month before departure: official processing takes three working days, but the Vietnamese Embassy in India advises leaving extra time. Every traveller needs their own e-visa, including children.

Yes, every Vietnam package tour 10 days long is marked customizable, and the collection already includes four honeymoon routes and five family routes. Rooms can be upgraded, the pace shortened for children or grandparents, and stops swapped without redesigning the itinerary. A revised plan and price come back within 24 hours.

Start Planning Your 10-Day Vietnam Trip

Ten days is the length where Vietnam stops being a checklist: the bay in the north, the lantern streets on the central coast, and a Phu Quoc beach in the south all fit in one trip, with mornings left over to do nothing. Vietnam 10 days tour packages long from Vietnamtour.in come with 4-star stays as the minimum standard, private transfers, and Indian, vegetarian, or Jain meals at every stop, with no hidden cost in the end.

Send us your travel dates today and a local consultant will have a full itinerary and per-person price in your inbox within 24 hours, free and with nothing to pay until the plan is right!
