Halong Bay offers a unique introduction to Vietnam’s coastline. Rather than a traditional beach stay, the experience here takes place on an overnight cruise, allowing you to explore different parts of the bay that are not accessible by land.

After boarding, the cruise sets sail through limestone formations rising from the water. Lunch is served on board as you move deeper into the bay, with the scenery gradually opening up around you.

In the afternoon, depending on the cruise program, you may join activities such as kayaking, swimming, or visiting a cave. There is also time to simply stay on the sundeck, unwind, and take in the calm surroundings at your own pace.

The afternoon is free, whether you prefer to rest, take a stroll along the beach, or simply enjoy the fresh sea air at your own pace.

In the evening, head to Grand World Phu Quoc, a lively open complex that becomes especially vibrant after sunset. You can take a relaxed walk through its wide open spaces, stop by the iconic bamboo structure for photos, and explore the night market filled with local snacks and small shops.

As the evening builds up, it’s time for one of the most anticipated highlights – the Venice Color Show. This lively performance combines lights, water, and music to create a colorful and engaging atmosphere, bringing a fun and energetic vibe to your first night on the island.

Your day begins with a visit to a pearl center, followed by a transfer to An Thoi Harbor, where your island-hopping experience starts.

Mong Tay Island is known for its clear water and calm beach, while Gam Ghi Island is ideal for snorkeling and observing coral. You will visit the Independence Palace, followed by the Notre Dame Cathedral (viewed from outside) and the Central Post Office, both reflecting the city’s colonial charm. The tour continues at the War Remnants Museum, where you can gain a deeper understanding of Vietnam’s past.

As evening approaches, transfer to the harbor and board the Indochina Queen cruise. While the boat glides along the Saigon River, enjoy a buffet dinner in a relaxed setting, accompanied by live music and views of the city lights reflecting on the water.

After the cruise, return to your hotel, ending the day with a calm and memorable evening in the city.

Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City

After breakfast, you will embark on a comfortable journey to My Tho (about 2 hours), passing through lush countryside landscapes. Upon arrival, you will enjoy a scenic Mekong River cruise, where you can observe daily life along the riverbanks and pass by the legendary islands of Dragon, Unicorn, Turtle, and Phoenix.

At Unicorn Island, the experience becomes more immersive. You will visit a traditional coconut candy workshop to see how local products are made, followed by a gentle rowing boat ride through narrow, shaded canals. Here, the calm surroundings offer a quiet contrast to the main river. The visit continues with a tasting of seasonal tropical fruits, accompanied by live Southern Vietnamese folk music.
