7 Days Explore Vietnam from North to Central

Welcome to Hanoi! Your guide will meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel.

After you’ve settled in (rooms available from 2 PM), your Hanoi exploration begins.

We start to visit the Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam. The Temple of Literature (Van Mieu Quoc Tu Giam) is one of the most attractive tourist spots in Northern Vietnam. The Temple of Literature was founded in 1070.

Amidst this historic backdrop, we pause to admire the tranquil beauty of Hoan Kiem Lake, where the Turtle Tower and Ngoc Son Temple stand as silent sentinels of time. Here, amidst the gentle ripples of the water, we find solace in the timeless elegance of nature’s embrace.

After that, we embark on a journey to explore the captivating charm of Hanoi’s Old Quarters, where the essence of daily life unfolds amidst ancient streets steeped in history. As we wander through the labyrinthine alleys, immerse yourself in the stories of yesteryears, capturing the essence of time in every photograph. Let the enchanting allure of the Old Quarters sweep you away, evoking a sense of wonder and nostalgia.

Following our adventure, we’ll make our way to Train Street, nestled within Phung Hung Ward, situated in the heart of Hang Ma, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi. Here, under the soft glow of twilight, we’ll relish the anticipation of the train’s gentle passage, all while sharing moments over your chosen beverage (beverage on your account). It’s a truly magical experience that promises to linger in our memories forever.

7:00 – 07:20:Our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel. We take you to Ninh Binh province which is far from Hanoi city about 120 km.

9:00:Have a short break for 20 minutes to relax

10:30:The first destination in this trip is visit Hoa Lu ancient capital. This is the first capital of Vietnam. Come to visit Hoa Lu, you will learn about why the capital was moved to Hanoi nowadays. You are impressed on an outstanding architecture when entering temples of King Dinh and King Le, the first and second emperors of ancient Vietnam, built in the 17 century. Try to feel ancient atmospheres in Hoa Lu ancient capital.

11:30: Continue the tour with 45 minutes for cycling around the village to discover the life of local people.

12:30: Have buffet lunch in the restaurant with a lot of local foods goat meat, fried rice… Vegetarian food is always available in the buffet lunch.

13:30 – 14:00: Visit Trang An which was recognized by UNESCO as The world Heritage Site in 2014. Trang An has the wonderful tunnel cave system so that Kong’s Movie Group chose this place for New Version of Kong in 2016 – “Skull Island“. Boat trip to visit Trang An to see the amazing beauty of this landscape with many caves such as: Sang Cave (Light Cave), Toi Cave (Dack cave), Nau Ruou Cave (Cooking Wine), green river and natural view.

16:00: Get on the Bus to return to Hanoi

18:30 – 19:00: Arrive back to Hanoi and drop off at your hotel.

07:00 – 07:30 | Pick-up time

You will be collected from hotels around Hanoi Old Quarter to explore Halong Bay.

11:30 – 12:00 | Arrive Tuan Chau Harbor

12:00 | Transferred by tender. Embark on Dragonbay Premium Cruises and receive a warm welcome while enjoying the welcome drink, our cruise manager will deliver the cruise briefing and safety introduction. After that, you will check in at your cabin.

13:00 | Enjoy fabulous lunch

Inviting lunch is served while Dragonbay Premium Cruises set sail into magnificent Ha Long Bay – an extension of Ha Long Wonder which is much quieter and less crowded. We will pass by the famous Finger Islet, Candle Islet, and thousands of uniquely shaped limestone towers and islands.

15:30 | Explore Lan Ha Bay – Ha Long Bay

We will visit the Dark and Bright cave, famous for its pristine natural beauty and poetic features, which is one of the most attractive seascapes of Lan Ha Bay. Here you will take some photos of the romantic, lyrical local see-sights. This is also the best time for everyone to enjoy kayaking/sightseeing by bamboo boat.

Afterward, visitors immerse in the emerald-like green water of Lan Ha Bay with exciting swimming activities; an interesting activity to discover the truest beauty of the Limestone Mountains and the blue sky of Lan Ha Bay. (Please prepare a swimming suit, sun cream, and sunglasses with you)

17:00- 18:00 | Sunset Party – Cooking Class

Back to Dragonbay Premium and relax on the cruise. It’s time for Sunset in Ha Long Bay, a moment you will keep telling your friends/family about it. It’s not only the outstanding scenery but we also can feel the atmosphere, the temperature, and the magnificence of nature. Enjoy our “Sunset Party “and a special offer from the bar to celebrate this moment.

Cooking Demonstration is an onboard activity that helps passengers not only to sample fine cuisine but also learn more about Vietnamese culinary culture. Cruise Chef will show and guide you on how to make Vietnamese traditional dishes such as fresh or dried springing rolls and/ or how to carve different kinds of vegetables and fruits. You may be invited to participate in a fun competition with other passengers to find who is the fastest to make the dish. Finally, you can have your dish of food, enjoin yourself or share it with your companions. An interesting activity for those who love cooking and cuisine!

Before dinner, our experienced captain will choose the most tranquil area to anchor overnight.

19:00 | Savor deluxe dinner

Enjoy delicious local food prepared and served for you by our wonderful onboard catering staff, night view on Lan Ha Bay is incredible with the sound of the ocean.

Enjoy overnight activities on board as squid fishing, and fabulous drinks at our bars, movies, spa therapy, or just relax in your room. Overnight at your cabin.

06:00 | Sunrise Tai-chi section on the sundeck

Be an early bird for a photo hunt and join our Tai-chi session on the sundeck to refresh your body and mind. If you enjoyed the sunset, we believe that you would love to see the sunrise on the bay.

07:00 | Have a light breakfast

Dragon Bay Cruises continues to pass by amazing karst towers while tea, coffee, and light breakfast are served with fresh air and peaceful surroundings.

08:00 | Explore Tra Bau floating village

Our small boat brings you to visit “Tra Bau” to join the kayaking experience to explore the Tra Bau area – the famous filming location for Kong Skull Island (King Kong) in Quang Ninh in 2018.

09:30 | Back to the boat for check-out

10:00 | Brunch time

During the time, a well-prepared lunch is served. Our Cruises slowly navigates emerald water and thousands of Karsts Mountains towards the Harbor.

11:30 – 12:00 | Back to Tuan Chau Harbor

Arrive at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter at around 15:00 – 15:30.

After you will be met by your private vehicle, which will continue the journey to Noi Bai International Airport for your flight to Da Nang.

Once arrival, Our driver will pick you up at Da Nang airport and then transfer to the hotel for check in. Check in your room(s) as per hotel’s standard check-in time (~14:00 or 15:00).

About 12.30 pm: The van and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel (Da Nang area).

Start your adventure with Cam Thanh Coconut Village. Immerse yourself in the peaceful atmosphere of Cam Thanh Village. Enjoy a relaxing boat trip through the beautiful coconut forest. Learn to paddle the unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boat and join in a basket boat rowing. Besides that, you will see the basket-boat performance.

About 2.30 pm: Visit to the next destination to Hoi An Old Town – a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its timeless charm and rich cultural heritage.

• Enjoy a traditional art performance at the Hoi An Traditional Performing Arts House, offering an authentic glimpse into local folklore, music, and cultural expressions.
• Continue your walking tour with visits to theMuseum of Trade Ceramics, showcasing Hoi An’s long history as a major trading port through a rich collection of ceramics from Vietnam and Asia. Explore the beautifully preserved Tan Ky Ancient House, a 200-year-old merchant residence that reflects the harmony of Vietnamese, Chinese, and Japanese architectural styles. Then visit the historic Cantonese Assembly Hall (Hoi Quan Quang Dong in Vietnamese), admired for its intricate carvings, vibrant colors, and cultural significance to the Chinese community in Hoi An—together illustrating the town’s unique multicultural heritage.
• Stop by the iconic Japanese Covered Bridge, one of Hoi An’s most recognizable landmarks and a symbol of the town’s history.
• As evening falls, enjoy free time to explore theHoi An Night Market, soak in the magical lantern-lit atmosphere, shop for local handicrafts, and take memorable photos.

6.30 pm: Enjoy your time with the boat ride on Hoai River and release the flower lanterns to pray for the best of luck to you and your family.

7:00 pm:Finish the tour in Hoi An.

8:30 pm:We will drop you off at your hotel in Danang. End of our services!

07:00 – 07:30 AM Departure We pick you up from Da Nang city center, and then we go to Ba Na Hills – “Sa Pa of the Central”, at an altitude of 1,487 meters above sea level.

09:45 AM Golden Bridge, D’Amour Gardens, Linh Ung Pagoda

Coming to Ba Na Hills station, you will move on going to the top of Ba Na Hills by the cable car, which possesses 4 Guinness records by the Guinness World Records, and from there, you will admire the marvelous scenery.

Arriving at Gare Marseille station, you will admire Golden Bridge, Linh Ung Pagoda, Le Jardin D’Amour Gardens …

Golden Bridge is no less than an iconic architectural wonder that envisages the sash-like route across heaven. After that, you will take the cable car to the top of Ba Na Hills with the French village, Fantasy Park, and for lunch.

12:00 PM Lunch time – You will take a rest and have buffet lunch at Ba Na Hills

Discovering the Wax Museum, which displays more than 40 wax figures of celebrities (self-expense ticket). Exploring French Village at Sun World Ba Na Hills – a replica of classical and romantic France, through a string of peculiar architectural clusters: the square, cathedral, town, village, and inns. Enjoy the show of European and American artists.

03:30 PM Back to the cable car station. Return to the cable car & return to Da Nang city.
