The South-to-North Explorer: 9 Days Across Vietnam’s Finest Icons

Welcome to Phu Quoc Island. Upon arrival, your private driver (no guide) will meet you at the airport and transfer you comfortably to your hotel. After check-in, which follows the standard hotel timing (approximately 14:00 – 15:00), the remaining time is yours to relax and unwind. Meals are in your own arrangement.

Later in the day, your driver will pick you up for an evening visit to Grand World Phu Quoc, a vibrant destination where culture and entertainment come together. As you explore, you will stroll through Urban Park, admire contemporary art installations, and visit the impressive Legend of Bamboo structure for memorable photos.

As night falls, you will have the opportunity to watch the spectacular Venice Color Show, followed by time at the lively night market, where you can sample local street food at your own expense and enjoy the dynamic atmosphere.

Note: Entrance fees for the Teddy Bear Museum, gondola rides, and the Quintessence of Vietnam Show are not included.

Overnight on Phu Quoc Island.

At 08:00, your guide will pick you up from your hotel to begin a full day of island exploration. The journey starts with a visit to Pearl Center, the largest showroom in Phu Quoc.

By 09:00, you will arrive at An Thoi Harbor and board a boat to explore four of the most scenic islands in the region. At Namaste Islet, you may enjoy seawalking (optional). Continue to Mong Tay Island, known for its pristine beaches and calm waters, followed by Gam Ghi Island, where you can snorkel and admire vibrant coral reefs.

Next, visit May Rut Island, famous for its long sandy beach lined with coconut trees, creating a peaceful tropical setting.

Afterward, you will arrive at Hon Thom Island for a buffet lunch. The experience continues at Aquatopia Water Park, the largest water theme park in Southeast Asia, offering a variety of exciting attractions.

Later, take a scenic cable car ride (approximately 25 minutes) back to the mainland, enjoying breathtaking views of the sea and surrounding islands, especially during sunset.

Continue to Sunset Town, a Mediterranean-inspired coastal destination. Here, you will visit landmarks such as the Clock Tower and Kissing Bridge, explore boutique shops and cafés (at your own expense), and capture stunning sunset views.

In the evening, attend the “Kiss of the Sea” show, a spectacular performance combining water effects, light projections, live performances, and fireworks.

Return to your hotel.

Overnight on Phu Quoc Island.

In the morning, your driver and guide will pick you up and transfer you to Vinpearl Safari Phu Quoc. Spend approximately 2-4 hours exploring this vast semi-wild park, where animals roam in natural habitats. Visiting early allows you to observe animals at their most active and capture memorable photos.
Note: Bus service in the zoo area is not included.

In the afternoon, continue to VinWonders Phu Quoc, the largest theme park in Vietnam. Here, you can enjoy a wide variety of rides, attractions, and themed zones suitable for all ages, ranging from thrilling roller coasters to immersive entertainment areas.

You will also have the opportunity to visit the impressive aquarium, where a fascinating underwater world comes to life, and enjoy the enchanting mermaid show, offering a magical experience inspired by ocean legends.

After a full day of exploration and excitement, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Overnight on Phu Quoc Island.

You will have free time until your driver (no guide) transfers you to the airport for your flight to Da Nang.

Upon arrival, your guide and driver will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel for check-in (subject to standard timing). Meals are in your own arrangement.

At 15:00, begin your afternoon tour with a visit to the Marble Mountains. Using the elevator to Thuy Son, you will explore caves, pagodas, and spiritual sites while learning about the cultural and religious significance of the area.

Next, continue to Hoi An Ancient Town. Here, you will visit Phuc Kien Pagoda, Phung Hung Ancient House, the Japanese Covered Bridge, and the local museum. A walk through the Central Market and charming streets offers both cultural insight and shopping opportunities.

In the evening, enjoy a boat ride along the Hoai River and release flower lanterns, a traditional activity symbolizing good luck. You will also have time to explore the night market and admire the magical lantern-lit streets.

Dinner will be served at an Indian or local restaurant.

At around 20:00, return to your hotel.

Overnight in Da Nang.

In the morning, travel from Da Nang to Ba Na Hills (approximately 45 minutes). Upon arrival, take a scenic cable car ride to the mountaintop resort, enjoying panoramic views along the way.

At the summit, visit the iconic Golden Bridge, explore the charming French Village, and enjoy attractions at Fantasy Park. You will also visit Linh Ung Pagoda and admire the surrounding mountain scenery.

Lunch will be served at a shared buffet restaurant, with options including both local and Indian cuisine.

Note: Alpine coaster, wine cellar, wax museum, and paid games are not included.

Return to Da Nang in the afternoon.

Overnight in Da Nang.

You will have free time until your transfer to the airport for your flight to Hanoi.

Upon arrival, your guide and driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel for check-in. Meals are in your own arrangement.

Begin your city exploration with a visit to the Ho Chi Minh Complex, including the Mausoleum (outside view), Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh’s Stilt House, and the One Pillar Pagoda.

Next, head to Train Street to witness the unique train passing through a narrow residential area. You may also enjoy a coffee at a local café (at your own expense).

Continue with a walking tour through the Old Quarter, where bustling streets, traditional shops, and colonial architecture create a lively atmosphere.

Return to your hotel.

Overnight in Hanoi.

Depart Hanoi via expressway (approximately 2.5 – 3 hours) with a private driver (no guide) to Halong Bay.

Upon arrival, board your cruise and begin sailing through emerald waters and limestone islands. Enjoy lunch onboard while admiring the scenery.

In the afternoon, take part in activities such as kayaking, swimming, cave exploration, or simply relax on the sundeck.

In the evening, enjoy a specially prepared dinner onboard and spend the night in a comfortable cabin surrounded by the peaceful beauty of Halong Bay.

Start your morning with a Tai Chi session on the sundeck, followed by breakfast and continued cruising.

At around 09:30, check out of your cabin and enjoy brunch before returning to the harbor. After disembarkation, transfer back to Hanoi via expressway.

Later, enjoy a 50-minute Water Puppet Show, one of Vietnam’s most traditional and unique art forms, originating from the Red River Delta over a thousand years ago.

Today is free at leisure until your driver transfers you to the airport for your departure flight.

Check-out follows the hotel’s standard timing (approximately 11:00 – 12:00).
