Welcome to Ho Chi Minh! Upon your flight’s arrival at Tan Son Nhat airport, our driver will escort you to the hotel for check-in. Your room is ready at 02:00 PM, then you can unwind or stretch your legs by exploring Vietnam’s most vibrant metropolis.

Day 2: Cu Chi Tunnels - Mekong Delta (B, L) - Joint in Tour

Around 06:45 – 07:00 AM, our guide will meet you at your hotel to start exploring the Cu Chi Tunnels. Please wake up early to enjoy a full breakfast before departure. Alternatively, you may request a takeaway breakfast from your hotel reception the day before.

After a half-hour bus ride, Cu Chi Tunnels, a unique military marvel that reflects the strength and unbreakable will of the Vietnamese people, will promise you an amazing experience.

First, you will watch a short documentary video of how the tunnels were constructed and how Vietnamese people survived the harsh wartime conditions underground.
Next, explore the remaining sections of the tunnel complex, which feature unique living quarters, kitchens, and bedrooms situated alongside essential military facilities such as weapon workshops, field hospitals, and command centers. Also, you’ll discover hidden trapdoors and cleverly concealed booby traps, once used to protect the area from enemy intrusion.
Later on, enjoy cassava and a cup of hot tea with steamed tapioca.

This afternoon, your journey to discover the west of Vietnam continues to My Tho city.

On an exhilarating boat excursion along the Tien River, you have the chance to gaze at the natural beauty of four beautiful islands, such as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise, along the riverside.
Then, you will cruise through the small canal by sampan and cycle around the village, opening your eyes to the unique scene of the Mekong Delta.
