Long-Standing History Of Tan Dinh Church
Tan Dinh Church, firstly called “Thanh Nhi Tan Dinh” or “School of Saints Tan Dinh,” was officially inaugurated in 1876. It originally served as an education center, attracting roughly 300 students from various regions in Vietnam.
During 1928 – 1949, the church was significantly renovated, including its main structure, pillars, and several patterns. These changes attach to the life and career of Father Jean-Baptiste Nguyen Ba Tong – one of the first Vietnamese bishops in the East.
