The first impression of Dragon Pearl Cave is its extraordinary natural setting. Formed over millions of years, the cave features magnificent limestone formations, high stone arches and shimmering stalactites that remain largely untouched.

Two entrances, each more than seven metres wide, allow natural light and fresh air to flow through the space, creating an open, comfortable atmosphere. With a total area of more than 4,000 square metres and a capacity of up to 600 guests, the cave offers an unusually spacious environment, averaging around 70 cubic metres per person. The temperature remains stable between 23 and 25 degrees Celsius throughout the year, making it pleasant in every season.

The developer, APC Corporation, has taken a careful approach to preserve the cave’s original beauty. Subtle lighting systems and thoughtfully designed pathways have been added only to enhance visibility and depth, without altering the cave’s natural structure. Visitors are therefore able to admire the cave clearly while still experiencing its raw geological character.

The journey from Halong to Cam Pha is considered one of the most beautiful coastal roads in Vietnam. On one side, travellers enjoy panoramic views of the sea and limestone islands stretching across Halong Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay. On the other side, limestone mountains, mangrove forests and local life create a vivid and authentic landscape. This scenic route gradually prepares visitors for the sense of wonder awaiting them at Dragon Pearl Cave.

Dragon Pearl Cave is located within the Vung Duc heritage area, a place deeply connected to the history of Quang Ninh’s mining region and the lives of generations of Cam Pha residents. The cave is not only a gift of nature but also a space that carries cultural memory and regional identity.

This historical and cultural depth is expressed through a one-of-a-kind live performance staged directly inside the cave.

The signature show, “The Quest for the Scared Pearl”, combines dance, circus arts, music and advanced multimedia technology. The program is directed by renowned Vietnamese artists Le Thanh Phong and Nguyen Huynh Tu, and performed by a professional cast.

Legend tells that millennia ago, when the Northeastern seas were shadowed by grave perils threatening both the harmony of nature and the lives of its people, a celestial host of Dragons descended from the heavens. Sent by divine command, they came not with fire, but with gifts of protection. From their mouths fell pearls and precious stones, which scattered across the waters and rose as thousands of towering limestone islands – today known as Halong Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay.

When peace was restored and their sacred duty fulfilled, the dragons prepared to ascend once more to the skies. Yet before their departure, the Mother Dragon bestowed a final blessing: a radiant gem hidden deep within the heart of a cavern – their last earthly dwelling. That place, now known as the Dragon Pearl Cave, stands as a timeless emblem of fortune, happiness, and enduring peace for all humankind.

At Dragon Pearl Cave, cutting-edge 3D mapping and dynamic lighting are masterfully orchestrated to breathe life into ancient stone arches. Each beam of light animates the stillness of a cave millions of years old, transforming it into a living, visual symphony. A one-of-a-kind sensory experience unlike anything else in Vietnam.
